Ken Shamrock had a successful career in the WWE from 1997-99. Shamrock is remembered fondly while as the holder of the Intercontinental Championship belt.

His time around The Rock was also legendary!

Remember that time in 1998 when Vince McMahon picked a fight with The Rock? McMahon made a stipulation saying if the Rock doesn’t win the Intercontinental Championship from Ken Shamrock, he will lose his future WWE Championship Match.

Shamrock remembers it all!

“Working with him, I became a better wrestler because there was so much knowledge from his father, from the family, and from him that I was able to pick up through wrestling,” Ken Shamrock told me while appearing on Scoop B Radio.

“His mic skills, the way he played his character, I got to learn quite a bit in that area from him by working with him. He was a tremendous talent. You see him now in the movies. He was definitely one of those gems. I got to be able to work a program with him for a year or so and that was precious times. You get opportunities like that, you have to learn. You got to be grabbing things from these people. I don’t care how good you become in anything, you always are going to learn. You should always be trying to learn. I was really blessed to have those opportunities. The Rock was definitely one of my highlights to be able to work with him in the ring and learn from him.”

More than 15 years after the first film, the highly-coveted Fast & The Furious franchise continues on. This weekend, the official trailer for the series eighth installment made its way to the internet, and it could be the biggest one yet; titled The Fate Of The Furious, the over 3-minute clip kicks off with a typical heist featuring the main characters before Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) reveals a surprising double-cross. After an apparent stint in prison, Luke Hobbs (played by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) leads the rest of the now-betrayed team on the hunt to figure out what’s going on.

In addition to Diesel and Johnson (who apparently had some on-set issues during the making of this film), The Fate Of The Furious sees the return of all the usual suspects — Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, etc. — alongside newer players like Helen Mirren (in a yet-to-be-disclosed role) and Charlize Theron, who appears to star as the movie’s main antagonist. Aside from Tokyo Drift, this is also the first official Fast & The Furious film to not star Paul Walker, who tragically died in a car accident back in 2013.

Dwayne Johnson has confirmed rumors that Jumanji will be a sequel; NOT a remake. For those who don’t know, Jumanji  is an illustrated children’s book written by Chris Van Allsburg (The Polar Express) and published in 1981. It later became adapted to the popular family-friendly film starring the late Robin Williams in 1995. Months ago, it was rumored that the new Jumanji film was to be a reboot.The Rock took to Instagram to announce that the new Jumanji will be a continuation (photo below).

In two weeks, Johnson will team up with Central Intelligence co-star/friend Kevin Hart and Jack Black to introduce the new Jumanji.  Johnson makes sure to state in his IG post that the film will be a sequel and not a reboot. It will be “a continuation of the awesome JUMANJI story.” The key word in that sentence is “continuation,” which  most likely means it won’t be an exact sequel. Fans can guess it’s going to acknowledge the events of the past while also being its own original story. His hashtags on IG prove that with these three stars we can expect some good laughter, a new family, and a new story-line honoring the first film. The film is set to come out sometime next year.

Yo.. Lots of positive ?? chatter now on something I should’ve clarified months ago when we announced we were making JUMANJI. This new movie will NOT be a remake or reboot of the original. It will be a CONTINUATION of the awesome JUMANJI adventure 20 years later. As a producer on this movie and someone who loves the original, you have my word we’ll honor the legend of “Alan Parrish” and properly introduce a whole new generation to the fun and crazy JUMANJI universe that so many of us loved and grew up on. Our director Jake Kasdan and lead producer Matt Tohlmach are focused and ready go. They also have no f*cking idea what they’ve gotten themselves into by hiring Me, Kevin Hart and Jack Black aka “The Cray Cray Triplets” as the stars of this movie.?? Shooting begins in 4 weeks. And on a personal note, it’s such a cool thing for me to bring the production of this movie to Hawaii. The positive ripple effect it has on local businesses and families in terms of creating jobs and additional income makes me very happy. I grew up on the island thru hard times and good times, so it means a lot to this local boy. Hell, I used to steal a Snickers candy bar every day from 7-11 when I walked to the gym as my pre workout meal when I was 14yrs cause I was too broke to buy one. When I return to Hawaii, I will go back to that 7-11 (on Kapiolani Blvd) and finally buy that Snickers bar after all these years. Then I’ll proceed to my psychiatric therapy session cause clearly I’m still messed up over that broke time in my life. #JUMANJI #HAWAII #SonyPictures #SnickersForTheWholeCrew
