New Music: Nicki Minaj Feat. Meek Mill – “Big Daddy”

With The Pink Print only three days from dropping, Nicki Minaj has one last banger to hold us down. What’s else? Some new, and long overdue material from Meek Mill. While Nicki has had one of the biggest years of her career, Meek has spent the last couple months behind bars, and it’s been a minute since we’ve heard anything from the Philly native. These two aren’t strangers however, as “Big Daddy” is just the first feature between the two on Minaj’s upcoming album, and the latest in a long line of successful features. The two superstars have also incited a ton of speculation over the past year on possibly being the next Hip-Hop power couple, but lets keep that stashed in the rumor-mill for now. “Big Daddy” is a hard knocking heater with wild bass, spiraling synths and menacing bells chiming together quite nicely. Nicki Minaj delivers two impressive verses on the Cardo beat, which makes it a little disappointing Meek’s effort wasn’t stronger. Hopefully this is just a glimpse of what the MMG rapper has in store and his repeatedly delayed album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, is right around the corner. Until then, be sure to work this track into your Friday night playlist and watch for The Pink Print dropping on the 15th.

New Music: Nicki Minaj Feat. Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown – “Only”

Nicki Minaj unites with her Young Money team on her latest “Only”, the third single from her album The Pink Print. The cut features her YMCMB counter parts Drake and Lil Wayne. Chris Brown is also featured on the hook, this is the first time he and Drake have appeared on a track together since their infamous beef. The star-studded track is produced by Dr. Luke, Cirkut and J. Mike who successfully created a killer beat. Unfortunately, we have heard stronger verses from the Young Money team. Nicki’s album, The Pink Print, recently got pushed back from November 24 to December 15th. Get into the track below.

Nicki Minaj has proven to do the most when it comes to shaking her rump and spitting some of the hottest lyrics in the game. She’s also doing the most in promotion for her upcoming album, The Pink Print. Not only did the Queen MC land on Queen Bey’s “Flawless” remix that was released this past weekend, but she also gave a snippet of her new video from the highly anticipated “Anaconda” single. She shut down the net with the cover art last week and this week she’s doing it again with the song and video which samples Sir Mix-A-Lot‘s “Baby Got Back.” Enjoy a preview below

New Music: Nicki Minaj – “Pills N Potions”

Nicki Minaj has been counting down to the release of her new single, and it is finally here. “Pills N Potions” is the first single off her upcoming third album, The Pink Print, which will drop later this year. Nicki has stated this album will be more geared to a more hip-hop sound than the “Starships” music she is often known for. The Dr. Luke-produced track has a very soulful feel to it, and it’s definitely a different sound for Nicki. It has a love ballad feel to it which is far different from what we’ve heard from her lately on tracks like “Yaas Bitch,” and “Chi-raq.” Are you digging Nicki’s new stripped down sound?
