Charlotte’s very own Tim Stacks is back today with a brand new single titled “The Formula” produced by 90 Vanguard in-house producer Blahzilla. Tim changes up his flow, showing the world what ‘the formula’ is to make it in this industry. The rapper/producer has been heating up the summer, dropping new songs consistently alongside the 90 Vanguard team. Tim’s upcoming mixtape New Era is expected to drop soon as well.

Over the weekend an update on Buckshot and 9th Wonder‘s third collaborative album, The Solution, surfaced letting hip-hop heads know they could expect the project on Nov. 13. Duck Down Records put out their first two albums, (Chemistry in 2005 and The Formula in 2008) but this duo is certainly hoping for a more rave reviews this time around. One thing is for sure, 9thmatic and Buckshot bring together an ecclectic vibe when they hit the studio. No one is knocking the New York-North Carolina connection though. Here’s hoping the third time is the charm. Also, be sure to check out one of their previous offerings off The Formula below.
