]]> Wesley Rose expertly co-directs the “The Get Down,” giving insight into The Experience and his groovy world through a 70’s inspired house party. Brilliantly shot in one take, “The Get Down” explores what it means to truly get down like there’s no tomorrow. He pays homage to the 70’s through funky vibes and a classic aesthetic while simultaneously blending in elements of his own present-day attachment to the DMV.

”The Get Down” reps his home territory by being shot in Baltimore and at The Grotto; The Experience adds his own personal flair by featuring his own personal friends- they were so ready to get down that even brought their own outfits for the function. Featuring fly outfits, amazing afros, and soul-infused sound, “The Get Down” proves to be an amazing experience.

]]> Washington, DC’s own The Experience puts his effortless sound and irresistible energy on full display in his soul-infused and an unforgettably bouncy single “The Get Down” featuring Soduh. Featuring a slick verse from the always smooth Soduh, this track blends elements of hip-hop, funk, and jazz together into one vibrant explosion of sound. “The Get Down”.The Experience “The Get Down” was one of the most organic songs we made for the project. I had an idea for the hook saved on a voice memo until I got out to LA for the recording session. As soon as we landed we hit the studio and laid the hook, and the verse came naturally from there. I knew I wanted a feature on the track but I was having trouble figuring out who would be a good fit. My engineer Javon Gant Graham (who also engineers for GoldLink) suggested I try to get someone untraditional on it, and it just so happened that we had seen my homie Soduh at the JID concert the night before. My boy Kevin Sinatra hit up Soduh the next day, he pulled up and killed his verse within 15 minutes of first hearing the song. From there we got ‘The Get Down.'” said The Experience. The Experience is readying the release of his debut EP, All For You expected sooner than you think.
