French artist Etienne Bergot from Lille has a passion for America and American culture. In 2008, he became a “stencil-professional” under the name The Dude Company. His work superimposes  emblematic figures on urban landscapes in order to convey his love for hip-hop and street culture. He draws inspiration from photographs that he later paints onto original media such as wood, metal or glass. According to him, the artist works in order to escape our “sad walls.” Through his work, he hopes to create a human discourse and bring color to our lives.
