Hip-hop veteran, Warren G stopped by Power 106’s The Cruz Show to chop it up a bit on everything from wanting to go to USC to learn how to write music to his thoughts on his stepbrother, Dr. Dre’s biopic, Straight Outta Compton During the short interview Warren also got into his fear of putting out wack music and how his 1994 classic “Regulate” was recorded in an apartment building in Long Beach, that  held only his studio, dog and bed. Five days later, people are still talking about Travi$ Scott and how he kicked a cameraman off stage during his set at this year’s Summer Jam. Some think he was justified, while others think he was a dick, for it.

Sitting down with The Cruz Show, La Flame explains why he pulled the move that is now viral.

Most shows nowadays are annoying, in a sense that we pay to see one rapper, but we end up with the rapper, plus like 75 members of his entourage all dancing around. Kudos to Travi$ Scott for trying to salvage the art of performing.

Crenshaw rep and current RESPECT. Magazine cover story, Nipsey Hussle stopped by Power 106’s The Cruz Show, where he got into everything from chopping it up with Jay-Z and Lyor Cohen to building his new four-room studio. During the interview, Nipsey describes his fans as some of the most hard-working, ambitious fans an artist could have, which isn’t all too surprising considering the fact that like-minded individuals tend to gravitate towards each other.

Nipsey also discusses getting major love from the East Coast, collaborating with Jonah Berger, author of the book Contagious (where got some of his boss marketing ideas from) and taking his time with his debut album, “Victory Lap.” Check it out below and be sure to get your tickets to Powerhouse 2015 if you’re in the L.A. area.
