When you mix failed romances, drugs, and a search to find life’s most important answers, the outcome can possibly lead to a string of decisions being made for the worst; unless you know how to channel that mixture into something creative.

Enter V A S H.

For the last three years, the Memphis artist has taken her time and experiences with love, and life in general, to create a 7-song EP, titled VHS, which adapts the retro theme of VCR’s and VHS tapes.

VHS is a debut project that showcases airy melodies and potent lyrics, due to some very solid songwriting, but what sets the project off, is the production which is provided entirely by
V A S H’s producer alias, known as The AQuadice. Listeners will find themselves treated to vibes reminiscent to the likes of The Internet, yet a little more introspective, and at times, a tad darker.

Now that you know what you’re getting into, press play on VHS, below.

Built around “the subject of numbness and avoidance”, “Feel Sometime” is the latest loosie from Memphis producer/rapper/singer/songwriter Vash aka The AQuadice. In what is a darker track, Vash poses the question to listeners, wondering if they actually want to feel real feelings, or simply pursue the high and the feelings that come with using substances as a means to get away.

Vash’s debut project VHS is in the making as we speak and is scheduled to be released this August.
