This Thanksgiving is special to me! In addition to good food and family, I’m reflective of where I was during Thanksgiving weekend 20 years ago.I was watching NBA Inside Stuff in my parents living room in November 1997.

Ahmad Rashad and Willow Bay did a feature on my show, Nets Slammin’ Planet that I co-hosted with Amy Scheer and Albert King.

The show was my entry point into my career and I never forgot the early days.

Conducting interviews, navigating the studio, learning how to move around a locker room and the ins and outs of radio, tv and print at an early age was a blessing.

This Thanksgiving I celebrate the journey!

With less than a week until the Turkey Day festivities begin, rapper Snoop Dogg and DJ Khaled are getting in the holiday spirit by hosting turkey drives. Taking place last week, Snoop handed out 1500 plus turkeys to the families of Inglewood in his home state of California.

Luckily for the families of Miami, there’s still a chance to pick up a bird as Khaled’s turkey giveaway will take place 11/24 at his restaurant Finga Licking.

Along with the offering free turkeys, the two hip hop staples are giving families hope and Thanksgiving memories they will never forget.

It looks like Weezy F Baby has finally set a release date for the follow-up to his classic project No Ceilings. Announced via his Twitter account, rapper Lil Wayne let all his fans know his long-awaited No Ceilings 2 mixtape will be released in less than a month on Thanksgiving (Nov. 26). While it’s been a while since No Ceilings first dropped (six years to be exact), we’re sure Young Money artist has some fire up his sleeve with this second-installment.
