See Game eat chicken wings, see Game steal cars and see Game’s The R.E.D. Album take the top spot on the charts.  Compton’s prodigy enters the second week of sales on his fourth studio album with sales clocking in just under 100,000 copies to edge out Jay-Z and Kanye’s Watch The Throne.  Only time will tell how long Game’s most recent chart topper lasts, but with rumors of Tha Carter IV going gold in its first week we may have a new number one soon.  Read more on the week’s album sales HERE.

Weezy’s album dropped just yesterday, but according to Billboard, industry forecasters are already expecting it to top charts.

The experts predict that “Tha Carter IV” will sell about 700,000-850,000 copies by Sunday, September 4th, thus concluding the second most successful opening week of the year – right behind Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way.”

Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s “Watch the Throne” only sold 426,661, which is respectful on its own, but almost half of Lil Wayne’s projected sales. And “Watch The Throne” wasn’t even leaked…

If that isn’t enough, the album is expected to hit number one sometime next week, making it Weezy’s third No.1. It’s ALMOST enough to make the less-than-perfect reviews inconsequential… or maybe not.

You can practically hear Drake spittin these bars tho….probably cos he wrote em too. Matter fact this joint jus sounds like a straight Aubrey joint wit Weezy’s voice on it instead. This sound like some shit where Aubrey was probably innocently makin the joint in the studio n the nigga Wayne dropped in while he was listenin to the playback. Son was probably like “Ayo Young Angel…this shit cool…thanks for the song, wodie. This MY song now nigga…..ayaaaackhhh” n then put the nigga in a headlock n gave him a noogie n shit. Drizzy mighta cried hisself to sleep that nite tho.

An HIV test, abuse, and abortion all clutter this music video about a troubled stripper’s life. It’s a bit deeper than we’d normally expect from Weezy, but this video for How To Love was meant to surprise audiences. According to MTV, the song’s producer, Detail, said the scenes came straight from Lil Wayne himself. “Wayne wrote every scene: He told me scene by scene by scene,” the producer said.

The video, directed by Chris Robinson, premiered online earlier today. Wayne’s 9th album, Tha Carter IV will drop in stores on August 29th, the day after the MTV Music Video Awards. Wayne is set to perform at the awards and has two nominations as well.

The first track to be leaked off Lil Wayne‘s upcoming album, Tha Carter IV, dropped today.  Jadakiss and Drake link up with Weezy on “It’s Good” and take turns laying some heavy verses.  This collaboration works well on this joint due in large part to their differing styles of delivery.  Hip-hop beef geeks will be going bananas about Weezy’s bar at 2:55, which seems to take a shot at Jay-Z.  It all goes back to Hov’s line on H.A.M., check the lyrics yourself.  Nevertheless, let’s put beef aside to enjoy a dope track.  Tha Carter IV out 8/29.
