After dropping a slew of videos to end 2019, Slimm Body has returned with a new video for his single, “Wrong Things Right Reasons (W.T.R.R)”. The video serves as a testament of how committed Slimm is in releasing new content for his fans.

After a near fatal gunshot wound and a battling a pending homicide/self defense case over the last few years, Slimm is finally back in position to release music. Launching his Wholesale Entertainment imprint, Slimm Body is definitely someone in the industry that music fans can appreciate. With talents ranging from dropping a hot sixteen to singing love ballads, Slimm represents his hometown of Cashville, Tennessee in a new way.

On a constant grind to level up, Body’s mixtapes and subsequent projects reflect a goal oriented life pertaining to all aspects in “The Life Of A Hustler”, while emitting a chill authentic vibes in the process.

With more music on the way this year, Slimm Body has more up his sleeve to keep the Nashville rap industry interesting.

Tennessee has bred many talented musicians of our past and present, with musicians like Tina Turner, Otis Redding, Justin Timberlake, Three 6 Mafia, Yo Gotti, and calling the state home.

Residing in Jackson, TN, Carita Cole is a multi-talented rapper and singer that dived into music at an early age. Carita first began singing and playing piano at the age of 7, trying to imitate the music that her parents would play at home. By age 11, Carita was playing the trumpet. In school, Carita realized that she excelled in music, as opposed to other hobbies, and eventually decided to make it a career.

Jackson, TN is relatively small city, 70 miles east of Memphis. Over the years, the city has taught Carita one of the most valuable lessons she has learned to date; never give up. Despite the fact that many local artists look at each other as competition instead of a potential ally, Carita has remained resilient, while promoting positivity in her music.

Today, Carita delivers her first single release of 2018, titled “Backseat.” With dark, entrancing production from Scott Supreme, Carita takes a rebellious approach, letting us know she will never take a backseat in this industry. Known for her signature raspy voice, Carita continues to make every song she writes just as potent, if not more, as the last.

Carita is known for empowering her fans with her refreshing, thought provoking music that has drawn comparisons to Rapsody, Lecrae, and J. Cole. “Backseat” is certainly a testament of this, with Carita effortlessly switching from sharp lyricism to a bit of singing.

Carita has dropped two projects, “Under Construction” and “Hard” since her 9-track debut, “Caution” in 2014. Though Carita has not announced a release date for her forthcoming body of work, fans can expect the official music video for “Backseat,” to drop in the near future.

Clarksville, TN native Tim Gent is back with the video for his ultra-smooth track “King Sh*t.” Gent has a really smooth delivery and voice on this one, which meshes well with the horn-laden beat, courtesy of Free P.

The visual was shot/directed by Devyn Betancourt, who captures the sincerity and realness of Tim’s lyrics notably well. His next project is without a title or release date for now, but I’m sure we’re bound to get another project from him in the new year. Watch the visuals below & enjoy.
