Ab-Soul is continuing to build anticipation for his new album These Days, which drops on June 24.  The Black Hippy remember teams up with Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco and Nikki Jean to bring you “World Runners.” The two have collaborated prior on “Thorns and Horns” and sonically they pair together extremely well. Both rappers provide inspiration on the Tae Beast-produced cut with the messaging stating: “Other people let the world chase them/We run the world.” So far Ab-Soul has been delivering solid singles so it will be very interesting to see how his album resonates. Chicago’s Vic Mensa has just let loose the third single from his upcoming mixtape, INNANETAPE, following “Did It B4” and “Orange Soda“. “Hollywood LA” has, admirably, very little in common with either of the first two singles, which also are drastically different with eachother–clearly, Vic wants to make his versatility known. Two things ties each of his latest joints together, though: Vic‘s earnest, honest content and his over-flow– the way the rhymes pile high and pretzel through each other. Produced by I Am Cam and Tae Beast, featuring the always silky Lily K, “Hollywood LA” is just the latest in a string of reasons to get hip to Vic Mensa, who tweeted that the accompanying video would be wild. Even though Kendrick Lamar‘s debut album drops today, that doesn’t stop him from releasing hot new music. He teams up with his Black Hippy partners Ab-Soul and Jay Rock for a candid track called “The Heart Pt 3.” The smooth, melodic track is produced by Tae Beast, and really showcases the talent of the three emcees. This track isn’t featured on Kendrick‘s new album but it’s still awesome. Listen to their hearts below.

The genius of TDE is preparing his entryway into the spotlight after his brothers Kendrick and Q have left the trail blazed.

Andromeda, 2 Chainz’s “Spend It” flow, geometric pattens, three eyes and limitlessness like you’re on NZT all find their way into the deep track. The text juxtaposed with Ab-Soul’s lyrics make listeners focus on his well-written poetry. That Chanel line at 2:50 is the coldest.

Produced by Tae Beast, this track will appear on Soul’s newest project Control System, which drops May 11.
