“…it appears the LAPD ‘accuser’ has chosen once again to remain anonymous, thereby preventing us from being in a position to disprove or refute her allegations — or even examine them. Meanwhile, although we now appear for the first time to have the name of an ‘accuser’ who supposedly filed a police report with LVPD, we have absolutely zero details about her or her claim.”

As he’s done many times before, T.I. has now decided to defend himself on wax. To the surprise of his fans, the Atlanta legend unveils a new single titled “What It’s Come To,” which directly addresses the issues that been taking place from his perspective:

“People weird, be projecting all they insecurities, whatever they said he did, he did, that shit I’m fuckin’ sure of it, behind the foreign cars, clothes, and expensive jewelry, I got a heart made of gold, motives be the purest, they say hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn, fuck that I’m cracking up the jury, who you lyin’ on, shawty?”

Last year, T.I. released his eleventh studio album The L.I.B.R.A., which saw 20 tracks and a slew of contributions from 21 Savage, John Legend, Killer Mike, Benny The Butcher, Jadakiss, Conway The Machine, Rick Ross, Young Thug, Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, Snoop Dogg, and more. In the same year, he could also be heard on tracks like Trae The Truth’s posse cut “Time for Change (Black Lives Matter)” and Lil Duval’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy.”

Atlanta rapper Yung Zu returns to the scene with his new single titled “Fire“. As he has captured the attention of his whole city, his authentic sound reaches new heights like never before. With the support of Atlanta music legends such as Usher, T.I., 2 Chainz, and Hip Hop super producer Jermaine Dupri, Zu has put in the work to be respected as a contender in the Hip Hop game.

Produced by June James(June The Jenius) and LilJuMadeTheBeat, this record solidifies Zu as one of the hottest newcomers in the game. His Atlanta upbringing and southern roots play out in his raw lyrical prowess. In the video, you will see this young rapper partying in a warehouse surrounding by beautiful woman playing with fire. One element of this release that is most notable is the shot of Zu walking out of a house burning and grass burning. That scene gave the song a more authentic feel.

You will hear this emcee say things such as “I’m lit you better not play with me I keep the K on me, cook a n***a  a** up like hibachi, I swear I’m on fire be hot like an arson”. His conscious tongue over trap beats, is a big part of why is original sound is reaching new heights in 2020.

Being heavily influenced by Hip Hop icons Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and Master P, Zu is on path to one day join the ranks of some of his favorite musical artists. “Fire” is proof that he has what it takes to make it big time in the music business.

UPDATE: Mayweather (or someone on his team) has responded to the b(l)acklash via a lengthy message on his Instagram, which you can read below.

If you didn’t hear, Floyd Mayweather doesn’t care that Gucci is in hot water for decidedly racist clothing (it seems like blackface is the latest trend these days). For that reason, T.I. has decided to send a strong message to his former (still current?) foe via the new track “F*** N***a, which you can press play on below.

The sad thing is, “Money” Mayweather probably won’t be changing his tune for anybody.

These people are playing hopscotch. First, they're supposedly boycotting the NFL but as soon as the Super Bowl came around, they were either at the game, watching it on TV or throwing Super Bowl parties. Last week, it was R Kelly, this week it’s Gucci. People boycott for trend but turn around and still shop at H&M and watch the NFL.

Nonetheless, Yella Beezy continues to move forward via a remix to his current hit single “That’s On Me,” which now features assistance from big names 2 Chainz, T.I., Rich The Kid, Jeezy and Boosie. Fellow Texas peer Trapboy Freddy also jumps on the posse cut, which is sure to get plenty of spins in the coming months.
