Named as one of the “6 Rappers in Atlanta to Watch For,” along with artists like Raury and K Camp, Supakali, has remained consistent these past few years. Today, he gifts us with a new video.

The 27 year old Atlanta native has been a familiar name in the city’s Hip Hop circuit as well in New York City. Today, he’s turning heads with his latest visual, “Come Up.” In the video, Kali takes us on a retrospect of his life and the adversity he’s still facing daily. He paints a picture with his words over a simple yet intoxicating Trap inspired beat. Kali’s consistency in putting out quality material has landed him on sites such as VIBE, The Source, XXL Magazine, Respect Mag, Karen Civil, Hot 93.7 radio play, and more. The “Come Up” is pre-approved as an anthem that individuals can related to as they pursue their own personal “come up,” whatever it may be. Video production is credited to Distortion Films and the song is produced by Cash Money Ap.

Make sure to peep the visual at the top of the post and be on the look out for Kali’s new project expected to drop early March of this year.

In a span of three years, emerging Atlanta artist, Supakali, has accomplished a lot, independently. He has released two projects, opened up for Rick Ross in Washington DC, performed in venues and festival stages across the US, and is always winning over new listeners, while expanding his fan base. Over the Summer, the Georgia native took on the Big Apple as he made a temporary move to focus on his music career.

During his stay, Supakali recorded new music, shot a music video, performed a couple shows, and linked up with Harlem’s own, Jay Pres – who has worked with artists such as Dave East and Tray Pizzy. Together, the two emcees are a dynamic duo in the studio and it’s evident on their first ever collaboration. With Kev Cairo on the beat, “1000” will have you cranking up your speakers and singing along to the hook.

Supakali’s “The 5th Quarter” drops soon and will serve as the precursor to his long-awaited Soon You’ll Understand album. In the meantime, peep the track at the top of the page and feel free to drop us your comments.

Supakali makes a return on his 27th born day with a new visual entitled “See What I See” featuring Renee Gardner. The record is a cut off Supakali’s forthcoming project and finds Kali putting a modern twist on a Mary J. Blige classic. As for the video, shot by Michael Della Polla, the camera follows Kali through the streets of New York City –his temporary home away from home (Atlanta) – as he raps about what he see’s (and has seen), day to day.

Supakali’s new project, “Soon You’ll Understand” is set to drop later this Fall/Winter. In the meantime, enjoy the visuals and let the music hit your soul. And for those who have followed Kali’s journey – from opening up for Rick Ross, doing multi-city shows, previous project releases, and more – up til now, then you’ve already started to open your eyes. But if you don’t get it now, soon you’ll understand..
