Meet Argentine street artist Martin Ron. He uses vivid colors that remind us of his Argentinian culture, his basic backgrounds aid to draw the viewers’ attention to his characters. “Sumo,” above, was painted in three days by Martin last November in honor of the First International Street Art Festival hosted in Buenos Aires.

Ron’s work is for the people. He created an homage to Carlos Tevéz, one of Argentina’s most famous footballers, on Fuerte Apache towers. Even though the soccer player left the neighbor hood “young kids idolize him,” says Martin Ron. This piece has become a symbol of hope for all.

His collaborations with other artists are breathtaking. Below, Martin Ron and Martin Worich painted a mural “Il Carromato Superstar” (meaning “Rickety Wagon” pulled by a giant snail.) The universe of both artist collide to create a surrealistic piece.
