Street Art: Aryz Curates A New Mural In Bilbao, Spain

Spanish street artist Aryz has gone back to his roots in Spain and created a mural somewhere in the Bilbao region. He worked quickly through this piece, presenting some of his newest skeleton work. Aryz shared some words in regards to how the community reacted when this piece was done:

Quite a few neighbors didn’t like it that much and as a consequence I had some issues during the process. As I’ve said more than once I don’t paint nice imagery to have public acceptance… of course I don’t paint either to have a bad time, but sometimes you have to deal with certain things when you are on the street.

Street Art: Cranio Takes On Social Media

Cranio is currently painting on the streets of East London, UK. The artist, who uses his blue indigenous characters to keep traditions alive, has decided to take on the topic of Facebook. Cranio comments on the ways in which the social-media website has shaped our ways of showing appreciation for things. Instead of complimenting a couple face to face, we snap their picture, write a caption and literally use a “like” button. His character is smirking while using his smartphone to take the couple’s picture, a couple represented by two big pigs. We wonder what Cranio has to say about love …
