Listen Up: Sted Lee – “Just Me”

Following up on the release of his recent smash, “Lucky AF” — which serves as a perfect kick off to Summer ’16 — Cleveland emcee Sted Lee has doubled back with a brand new joint, this time in the form of “Just Me”.

“Just Me”, is the culmination of many songs Sted has been working on, as of late; some of which have required him to hit the road several times, finding himself in places like Atlanta, Georgia, where he linked up with Left Hand Mitch, who is the producer behind this one.

According to Sted, in an email sent to me, “Just Me takes you on a journey of the never-ending hustle. It is about never letting anyone stop you from your goal, be it a friend or a foe.”

Do your ears a favor and take a listen to “Just Me” — which Sted calls “the waviest of all” the songs that he has put out — which is the second single from Sted Lee’s upcoming project, Good Luck Sted. You can also peep the video to “Lucky AF” right here.

With Summer Approaching, Sted Lee Releases “Lucky AF”

The weather is starting get really pleasant (unless you live in Ohio, where you never know what to expect), so you already know what that means; the local swimming pools are about to open, the grills are about to be fired up and rooftop party season is in full effect. You have been grinding all Winter and now it’s time to bring the toys out and have a little bit of fun. There is nothing better to accompany these occasions, than good music that fits the mood you’ll likely have all season.

After what was a brief musical hiatus, Cleveland emcee Sted Lee makes his return with “Lucky AF”. Produced by frequent collaborator 100 Band Xan, “Lucky AF” couldn’t be a more seasonal and timely record.

“Lucky AF is a firsthand story of a hardworker/hustler relaxing, while living amazing”, Sted explained via email. “Nothing stops the hustle, therefore nothing stops the kick it.”

While the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls may be currently involved in a fierce playoff battle, that doesn’t stop Sted Lee and Caleb James from joining forces and giving us a visual to their very player new joint “Sum’n Right“. The Rio The Mechanic-produced tune sees Sted & Caleb documenting their hustle, their come up and of course the women!

New Music: Sted Lee x EriQ LaRon x 100 Band Xan – ‘Three For Three’ (EP)

In an effort to establish unity among artists in Ohio, as well as the Midwest in general, Cleveland emcees Sted Lee, EriQ LaRon, and producer 100 Band Xan, team up to give us the Three For Three EP.

Recorded in both Chicago and Cleveland, the Three For Three EP started off as a collaboration joint between the trio, who have been making noise in Cleveland for years, respectively.

With the release of the Three For Three EP, Sted, EriQ and Xan hope to pioneer a wave of more artists coming together, in one of the most talented regions in the nation.
