Stacey Dash may not want to be considered “African-American” or “Black”, but it’s not stopping her from cashing in on the Black roles.

According to published reports, Dash has been tapped to star as Mildred Fay Jefferson, the first Black woman to graduate from Harvard Medical school in the new controversial film, Roe vs. Wade. The film, which is already causing controversy due to the people involved and film’s political stance, is listed as a “pro-life” film produced by Nick Loeb.

Roe vs Wade the film is based on the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision in the case of the same name that granted a woman’s right to an abortion. Although the case was a monumental landmark case, the film will be “pro-life” with outspoken celebrity conservatives including Stacey Dash and Jon Voight, who are both Trump supporters.

According to The Hollywood Reporter , “The film has been under such tight wraps that even the major cast members had not been revealed; Two Supreme Court justices are played by a couple of Hollywood’s more outspoken conservatives, Jon Voight and Robert Davi, and other justices are played by Corbin Bernsen, John Schneider, Steve Guttenberg, William Forsythe, Wade Williams and Richard Portnow.”

Jefferson was a known conservative and former president of National Right to Life, however, based on the cast and Dash this film will no doubt be a biased way to push the narrative of her political affiliation.

Things got a little bit awkward during Sunday nights Oscars, when Stacey Dash graced the stage to “represent for her people” and to wish the audience a “Happy Black Month”. The audience, both present at the Oscars and those watching from home, sat in complete silence wondering exactly what was going on considering her being very vocal about her negative views towards Black History Month in a Fox interview in January.

A day after the awkward Oscar appearance, Stacey ran to her blog to discuss why she made the appearance “to increase the Oscars diversity” in the first place stating:

When they added ME to increase the diversity, I’m sure many black people rolled their eyes. I’m not “black enough,” they say. But guess what? I’ve heard that all my life. I would rather be a free thinking, black than a cookie cutter black who thinks – and votes – just like all my friends…Bringing diversity to Hollywood… not merely because of color, but politics as well. (After all, different colors of skin is an easy kind of diversity. Ideological diversity is much harder, because it forces everyone to come face to face with actual beliefs. Hollywood needs BOTH.

As if most people haven’t already had enough with Stacey Dash and all of her Dash-ness, she put out a video shortly after her blog post of her reading mean tweets backstage at the Oscars in the style of the Jimmy Kimmel Live mean tweets segment.

Here are some of the mean tweets that she shared:

@ink_kid_smash: I was hoping there was a trap door on the stage and @REALStaceyDash would fall through

@l0rdSav: No one likes you

@njsista123: You looked foolish and sounded dumb

@lamado: #b***hbye

@JENNontheRocks: I’m sick of your s**t I’m pulling up

Check out the mean tweets video and let us know your take on Stacey Dash being used to increased diversity at the Oscars. Comment below!
