Trakksounds production melds 1982 funk with present day Hip-Hop, allowing Roosh and Garza to flow effortlessly over a feel-good, yet hard hitting record. Nikko Lafre drops a lyrical parallel highlighting Timberwolves rookie and NBA All-Star Dunk Contest participant Zach Lavine titled, well, “Zach Lavine.” Lafre being a Minneapolis native pays tribute to the rookie’s success while delivering razor sharp flows over trap-like production from K-Beatz and Johnny Rain. “Troubled Soul,” Nikko’s debut album, is slated for a March release and every new record builds the project’s anticipation. “I’m in the trap and it’s jumpin’ like it’s Zach Lavine..Zach Lavine.”
