Twenty plus years in the game and the Wu is still dropping bangers. Next up on deck is U-God. His long-awaited The Keynote Speaker is set for a July 23 release date by way of Soul Temple Records, executively produced by The RZA. Guest appearances include Wu brethren GZA, Method Man and Inspectah Deck along with others like Styles P, Elzhi of Slum Village, Kool Keith and more. Taking its title from a 1972 Taiwanese film, “Execution in Autumn” is the latest Wu gem, courtesy of  Frank Dukes and Soul Temple Records. Frank Dukes linked up with the Wu for the Man with the Iron Fists soundtrack and we can see why that relationship has been maintained.

Last week we got the Adrian Younge version of Twelve Reasons to Die. This week the fans are in for another treat with Mello Music Group‘s Apollo Brown dropping his own cut. The Brown Tape was originally released on cassette but has since sold out. Yeah, you read that correctly: cassette.

Due to it’s high demand, Soul Temple has now released a digital version. Apollo Brown definitely did his thing on the production end, so check out the album stream below. Was it better than Adrian Younge’s version? Let us know.
