Sonny Seeza, one of the founding members of Onyx, puts on his for his hometown of Brooklyn in his new visuals for “Everywhere,” the neck-snapping single off his Bridges LP.

It’s only right that the BK stalwart (also previously known as Sonsee and Suave) heads back to his borough, as he’s been proving the track’s hook to be accurate as of late—dude’s really been everywhere. In addition to dropping his new album on Swiss label Empire Music, Sonny teamed up with a number of European producers who provide the record’s instrumentals. On “Everywhere,” he got laced with a serious banger courtesy of DJ Def Cut, who takes a familiar sample (Ghostface fans, lookin’ at you) and flips it into a slapper for Sonny.

Not only that, but the video is directed by PW Films, a Swiss film crew who has worked with Sonny a number of times in the past. Here, they provide a sneak peek into what it’s like to be a Brooklyn O.G. who knows how to celebrate as much as he does spit menacing raps. When Sonny and his team aren’t toasting at the bar, they’re hitting up his stomping grounds.

This is that raw, unfiltered boom-bap we’ve come to expect from Sonny and his former cohorts in Onyx, and it’s great to hear him sounding so hungry after so many years in the game.
