Born in the UK and raised stateside, Soul/Pop/R&B artist SONI has overcome the blues with soulful sounds and lyrics of optimism.
She writes of immigration issues, loss of loved ones and how the love of friends and family make life worth it all.

Self-described as a ‘corner shop girl singing of freedom’, SONI is preparing for a 3-song EP release on July 24 via London’s Buttercuts Records. Today, she releases a single off the forthcoming project titled “Happy To Serve,” which includes contributions from a star-studded group that includes Rebel ACA, David Rogers, French Monkey Wrench, UncleP, Alex Hamilton and Izzy Austin.

On “Happy to Serve,” Soni showcases her harmonious and powerful vocals over a unique beat loaded with trumpet and drums, courtesy of Alex Hamilton and Paul Fowler, while singing about her tumultuous journey to becoming the artist and woman she is today.
