<p>Without a doubt the artist who had traveled farthest to be at Saturday&#8217;s Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival was Las Vegas native and <a href="http://respect-mag.com/xxl-freshman-freestyles-who-came-hardest/">XXL Freshman</a> <strong>Dizzy Wright</strong>. Considering that he was placed on such an important list, one would think <strong>Dizzy</strong> would have a long set, but no&#8211;he played just shy of 15 minutes, though those 15 were the last before the MCA tribute that led into the three headliner hydra of <strong>EMPD</strong>, <strong>Redman</strong>, and <a href="http://respect-mag.com/pusha-t-goes-to-war-at-the-brooklyn-hip-hop-festival/"><strong>Pusha T</strong></a>. In his time on stage, <strong>Dizzy</strong> did what he could to get the welcoming crowd of varied energy hyped up, starting with the bouncy, energetic &#8220;Man In The Veg&#8221;. <strong>Dizzy</strong> rocked back and forth on his heels, gracefully pacing on the stage and making controlled moves of a man very comfortable in his own skin. <strong>Dizzy</strong> was in smooth, solid form, clearly enjoying himself as he joked with the crowd before dropping &#8220;Solo Dolo&#8221;, first asking &#8220;Any of y&#8217;all riding dolo&#8221;, being met with majority silence, and asking &#8220;What, y&#8217;all niggas role in packs in this mothafucka?&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Screen-Shot-2013-07-16-at-11.42.29-AM.png"><img decoding="async" data-attachment-id="64753" data-permalink="https://respect-mag.com/2013/07/dizzy-wright-dances-vibes-raps-his-ass-off-at-the-brooklyn-hip-hop-festival/screen-shot-2013-07-16-at-11-42-29-am/" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Screen-Shot-2013-07-16-at-11.42.29-AM.png?fit=901%2C601&amp;ssl=1" data-orig-size="901,601" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="Dizzy Wright Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Screen-Shot-2013-07-16-at-11.42.29-AM.png?fit=901%2C601&amp;ssl=1" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Screen-Shot-2013-07-16-at-11.42.29-AM.png?fit=640%2C427&amp;ssl=1" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-64753" alt="Dizzy Wright Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival" src="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Screen-Shot-2013-07-16-at-11.42.29-AM-640x426.png?resize=640%2C426" width="640" height="426" data-recalc-dims="1" /></a></p>
<p>He continued on with the hard-knocking track, as well as the mellow and thoughtful &#8220;Killem Wit Kindness&#8221; which may have held the crowds attention best of all; <strong>Dizzy</strong> himself noted, &#8220;I know y&#8217;all fuck with lyrics out here&#8221;. They also fucked with his vibe, though they perhaps would have had a better time and laughed a little if they had been bigger fans and payed more attention. <strong>Dizzy</strong> clearly is a funny guy, and as you can see in the video below, he enjoyed himself, busting the occasional semi-robot to keep things interesting. <strong></strong>The performance he gave was passionate while admirably lighthearted, a sign of the advanced maturity that will prove to be among <strong>Dizzy</strong>&#8216;s most significant traits. Salute.</p>
