Before his untimely passing, Canada star Smoke Dawg connected with London’s AJ Tracey for the collaboration “No Discussion,” which saw production from super-producer Murda Beatz. Now, that song — and an accompanying visual — arrives posthumously: a simple-yet-effective look into Smoke Dawg’s life, courtesy of Tunnel Vision TO.

Check out the clip above and pick up “No Discussion” here…all proceeds are said to be going out to Smoke Dawg’s family. RIP.

SYPH goes straight to the source in “Off The Boat.” Sauga City native SYPH’s uprising has been an enigmatic one. While his impressive “Rookie Of The Year” project still makes it’s rounds through the digital world, SYPH enlists Smoke Dawg for a simplistically grabbing visual for “Off The Boat.” His brand of drowned-out, melodic-trap creates a sonic energy that’s catchy, yet an authentic take of the streets. “Off The Boat” makes it’s own mark in a time where drug-like records invade every corner of the internet, crafting a visual demonstration of what he has to offer as a lyricist and songwriter. “I get it straight off the boat/I don’t give a f*ck bout no hoe/my b*tch be whippin the dope” is a fairly summarizing hook in relation to the record’s concept, (and obviously the video’s treatment) but OTB shows range; a musical depth which adds a dimension of notoriety to a rising force such as SYPH. As Toronto seems to be a focal point and formidable breeding ground of forging new sounds and trends alike, SYPH and his Nu Money Gang imprint is quickly rising trough the ranks of Canadian standouts. Smoke Dawg’s gritty verse blends perfectly with SYPH’ s narrative and paired with the straight forward, clean grace of Zac Facts’ direction, “Off The Boat” acts as a catalyst to the notable growth of Toronto’s underdog.
