Christian Sosa better known by his stage name 50 Sosa, is a rising musician, rapper out of Patterson Ca. Born in Mexico, Ca raised. He was always musically influenced by 2Pac, he pays homage as he drops off his new video “Pray For Me”. 50 Sosa is in the street getting his money. But the street life isn’t for everyone. YG is back at again but this time he’s showing Japan some love. The Def Jam recording artist shows his multiculturalism by filming abroad. From his new album Still Brazy, the music video for “Word is Bond” includes Slim 400 along with glimpses of Japanese locals.

Directed by Alex Erdmann, the visual includes both Japanese and English subtitles that gives a twist to the video. The English subtitles offer viewers a more neutral and watered down translation of the lyrics that YG and 400 are spitting.

Humurous.

Through this new visual we see bright chandeliers and low riders bringing an authentic Compton vibe meets old luxe feel. The video has a certain vibe to it almost emulating Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift minus the numerous fast cars, half-naked woman and Bow-Wow.

Slim 400 has you covered with the remix for “On My Set.” Slim’s not alone however, YG, Big Quis, and Hunyae hop on the record’s remix delivering laid back, rhythmically-nonchalant rhymes over a simple, yet catchy baseline. “On My Set” is music for when the sun’s out and from the looks of the women their pillow fighting with in the video, then sun sure is shining on Slim and company.
