Ty Dolla $ign & Skrillex Join Lykke Li on “Two Nights Pt. 2”

Swedish star Lykke Li has been reaching back to last year’s So Sad So Sexy to create some remixes for her forthcoming release Still Sad Still Sexy. One such remix takes the Skrillex-produced track “Two Nights” and upgrades it by switching out Aminé for Ty Dolla $ign.

Check it out below, along with another version of the track “Sex Money Feelings Die” featuring Lil Baby.

Skrillex Delivers a Remix of Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode”

I’m not sure this song really needed it, but super-producer Skrillex decided to twist Travis Scott and Drake‘s “SICKO MODE” into his own brand of rave music (I’ll be honest, it doesn’t sound like he made a crazy amount of changes to the original’s production save for a quick mid-point drop). Skrillex Remixes Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.”

This is pretty dope. Kendrick Lamar‘s “HUMBLE.” (and album DAMN.) is pretty solidified as the best album of 2017 (or one of them). What hasn’t really happened with much of Kendrick’s work (from an official standpoint): EDM producers putting their own spin on the Compton star’s music. Enter Skrillex, who steps up to the challenge — he decided to turn “HUMBLE.” into a genre-morphing masterpiece, perfect for every dancefloor and festival.

Check that out above; for the few of you living under a rock, you can enjoy both the original version of “HUMBLE.” and DAMN. as well.

West Coast singer-songwriter-producer Ty Dolla $ign is definitely getting his fans hype for Beach House 3, led by the Lil Wayne and The-Dream-assisted “Love U Better.” Now, he blessed the world with an island-inspired cut titled “So Am I,” which sees Ty$ collaborating with Damian Marley and Skrillex…the catchy tune give off serious Major Lazer vibes.

Jared Leto Stars as the Joker in Rick Ross & Skrillex’s “Purple Lamborghini”

It’s been quite the week for the American film director, producer, and screenwriter David Ayer and his Suicide Squad cast. The Hollywood filmed aired in theaters today, and already critics are already giving it thumps down. Viewers have been mostly disappointed with the noticeable absence of the American actor, Jared Leto who was casted to play one of comic books worst villains, The Joker.

So if you’ve already seen the film and felt mislead by all the advertising and the previews, there’s a little more of The Joker for you to take in, courtesy of Rick Ross and Skrillex’s Suicide Squad collaboration “Purple Lamborghini.” The visual comes after the duo released the news of their collaboration just a couple weeks back, and reports surfaced that the two along with Jared Leto were shooting a music video for the soundtrack’s lead song in Miami.

The video shows Ross, Skrillex and Leto in various locations, including a club and on a boat, as Skrillex’s hard-hitting production accompanies Ross’ bars about the Squad. The four minute and twenty-one second music video is visually a work of art, just wished they would of let The Joker say something rather than just walk around. Checked the video out down below.

Suicide Squad AD Shown During NBA Finals

A glimpse of the DC Comic inspired movie Suicide Squad was shown in one of the new movie promos ads that aired during Game 3 of the NBA Finals Wednesday night. We are ready for the release and you should be too!

Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5th through Warner Bros. and will be directed by David Ayer. Actors, Will Smith and Jared Leto both will star in the movie. Smith, someone who is used to playing the hero, will play the villian Deadshot. Leto will bring to life the role of one of the most infamous DC comic characters, The Joker. “The only villain who may be more infamous is the Devil,” Ayers said.

Adding more anticipation, Rick Ross and Skrillex will collaborate on a track which will be included on the soundtrack for the film. The track will also feature a cameo from Leto’s character in the music video.

Synopsis:

It feels good to be bad. Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer, Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying or decide it’s every man for himself?

New Music: Vic Mensa- “Codeine Crazy” (Icarus Story)
