Skippa Da Flippa teams up with Lil Yachty for the “Play Your Position” music video and it was definitely worth the wait. Skippa has been doing just fine since he left the Quality Control label. He recently dropped “GangLand” which is his first single since leaving the label, and now he has a dope visual for his fans to enjoy.

Although the Atlanta rapper is one of the most underrated, he is one of the most respected artists while being the top lyricists in hip-hop. Play your position is a track that repays Yachty for their 2016 collaboration, “Minnesota” from his Lil Boat mixtape.

“Play Your Position” is a guaranteed banger from his I’m Tellin Ya mixtape which was dropped back in August.  The track is produced by Earl The Producer and the visual is directed by Unkut Cinematics. At the moment, Skippa is keeping the music coming by working on a new mixtape so be on the lookout for the new heat coming soon. Check out the visual for “Play Your Position” below.

Rich The Kid has linked up with Migos once again for his new track “I Got A Check”. Both Rich The Kid and Migos took to Twitter yesterday (Monday, August 22nd) to announce the release of the Labcook produced song.

Most recently, RTK has dropped both “Stay Focused” featuring Skippa da Flippa and the fan favorite “Strippers” featuring Desiigner in preparation for his upcoming projects. “I Got A Check” brings a certain flair that audiences are sure to appreciate with RTK’s catchy rhymes and Migos’ signature sound. Who doesn’t love a good Quavo hook?

RTK has also revealed that he will indeed be dropping two projects in the upcoming weeks. Keep Flexing will be available on September 13th and Streets On Lock 5 is set to drop on September 16th.

]]> Lil Yachty drops surprise mixtape Lil Boat. From the Yeezy Season 3 runway to a project that seems to have appeared from the thin Atlanta air, Yachty’s rise has been anything but orthodox. Red beaded braids, gold teeth, and pioneering mentality, the Sailing Team front man’s gurgle-rap sound and drowned out sonics make for a drug-fueled, trippy narrative from the quirky mind of the Lil Boat artist. Sitting at 14 cuts, Lil Boat is a windy path of masterful off-key notes, hilariously adroit punchlines, and a tangibly relatable simplicity. Yacht’s “Minnesota” remix enlists the help of Migos’ Quavo and Young Thug and is the major standout from the project, but records like “Not My Bro, “Good Day,” (w/ Quality Control’s Skippa Da Flippa) and “1Night” give us a fist hand look at what happens when quirky meets musical evolution. Lil Boat is youth; a first-hand rendering of an Atlanta wave that continues to bend and flip the original ideal of Hip-Hop sound. Lil Boat (and Yachty himself) exist somewhere between an eclectically-driven rock star and a Hip-Hop character whose identity is nearly as intriguing as the actual music itself. Sure, the Kanye co-sign has placed Yachty in a very fortunate position, but in a time where appearance can take precedence, the 18-year old ATLien is absolutely seizing the moment. And the boat imagery? Flawless.
