Having recently dropped his sixth album Skelethon, rapper Aesop Rock returns with a new music video for “Cycles to Gehenna.” A gang of menacing ballerinas walk dark streets and dance to the beat of Rock’s pulse-pounding production in this video. Who would have thought rap and ballet were so compatible?

We haven’t had a solo album from Aesop since 2007’s None Shall Pass, but today it was announced that he is joining forces with Rhymesayers to release his sixth LP, Skelethon. The album will be produced entirely by Aesop himself. Rhymesayers had the following to say about the project:

“Aesop’s new album follows in the wake of several deep personal losses and highlights subject matter that deals with the sometimes-futile ways people try to cope with serious issues.”

Skelethon will only be released on July 10, but the tracklist is already available. Check it out below.
