Skaa has officially relocated to New York and the scene has inspired him to go harder and make more meaningful music. The artist is on a set trail of solid music and is garnering the attention of many while staying true to himself. He reaches our pages today to release his debut project titled Just an EP. The best way to describe the project is a classic as it has a nostalgic feel to it and feels like more than just an EP. ]]> Skaa is a hip-hop/rap artist originally from Manila, Philippines but currently based in New York, Skaa is on his grind heavy for the world to know his name. The hip-hop recording artist returned with his track “Come Thru.” The track produced by Zdan is very laid back and uses a sample from Blackstreet’s famous record “Before I let you go.” We quickly find ourselves seeping into the infectious hook and ready to hit that replay button.

Overall, this is a classy hip-hop track with an R&B influence by a rap artist at the top of his game. His skills as a lyricist and as an emcee are up there with the finest in his field and he also has a good grasp of memorable, catchy melodies, and refrains. Check out “Come Thru” below.

Skaa is an artist that is based in Boston and has been making quite a bit of noise in the indie scene lately. The recording artist recently moved from Manila, Philippines in late 2017, to pursue his music career. He begins his journey by delivering the visual for his latest single titled “Escape.” If you haven’t heard his music yet, the best way to describe his sound is smooth with a mix of boom bap. The smooth record “Escape” finds Skaa delivering real bars over a eclectic style boom bap beat.
Skaa picks up the pen to describe his current place in life and take listeners down an awing lyrical path. He offers a wider range of music style for those that might be fed up with the watered down lyricism in today’s sound. When asked what is his current goal with his music, and what he plans on bringing to the table as a contender in Hip-Hop, Skaa replied;
“I look to bring together all elements of Hip-Hop, and show others it’s okay to be yourself and to never conform to popularity.”
