“The creative process for RND was all about quality and attention to detail. A lot of long nights in the studio ,re-working songs, adding, deleting, working on things very meticulously to make sure every detail was intentional. A lot of weed involved in making this project as well. For about 6/7 months I didn’t focus on anything else but making music, so it was a lot of focus and precision but still having a good time along the way. The motivation to create timeless music was from being inspired by timeless music. The whole time was writing this projects i had albums like “CrazySexyCool”, ” Reasonable Doubt”, “Supa Dupa Fly”, and “Dangerously in Love” and “Anti” on repeat. I pretty much wanted to make something that I personally would be a fan, and could enjoy. I just wanted to bring a certain feeling that was timeless, as an indie artist people may not discover your music until years later, and wanted to make sure the music could stand the test of time and not just be another trendy thing. After hearing the project i want listers to feel a little bit of nostalgic but also current. I want them to wanna re-play it then go and play some old school R&B vibes afterwards. A lot of the songs talk about different relationship aspects which is always relatable to fans too. I just want people to catch a vibe, smoke one and catch a vibe lol Its a full story if you really listen to it, it’s a Love Story.”

As we can see Rob loves to make timeless and subbstanial music that everyone can relate to. He continues to create a vibe that is felt through his lyrics and that is how he continues to reach new pinnacles and level up.

Former band member of the Robin Antin formed Girlicious, Chrystina Sayers has released her new single “Blame You”. Chrys recently has been dropping hints of the song as well as snippets of the beat for fans for weeks now via Instagram. Before the single’s release, Chrystina caught up with RESPECT-MAG.com on her new journey as a solo artist.

“Over the years, I really got a chance to grow not only as a artist but as a young woman. I keep my mind, body and soul balanced.” The singer later described her new team and what to be expected this time around.“I have a very fun, youthful, and energetic team that keeps me on point and always redirects my focus back to creating greatness for the fans.” She later states that she plans to re-brand as an artist.

“I have a crystal clear direction of how my team and I will be branding myself not only as a artist but as a power house brand. We can not wait to get into apparel, perfume, hair, & cosmetics.”

Chrystina’s new sound was the hot topic of her interview as she was so excited to unveil her new sound. “My genre that I am focusing on is Pop/Urban” the singer made poignant;“with splashes of reggae, electro, and soul.”

She praised Janet for the influence in her life and inspiring her to perform. “I always loved Urban Contemporary… I have always looked up to artist like Michael & Janet Jackson, as well as the rest of 90’s Pop/Urban royalty.”  

The singer says that her focus is on the love of her fans and her love for her music. She spoke passionately about her fans “The number one thing I want my fans to know is that I am, always have been a fighter and a competitor: always trying to get the best out of people and the best out of life.”

The new song Sayers released is a full on blend of her favorite sounds. With an 808, hi-hat & up tempo guitar, Chrys emulates songs like “Right By My Side” by Nicki Minaj.
