]]> The Golden State Warriors under the tutelage of new head coach, Steve Kerr, are the best team in the NBA thus far this season. They are currently sitting at 18-2 and just won their 13th consecutive game last night (after blowing out the Timberwolves by 16 points on the road.) However, they have been advised by NBA officials that they can no longer celebrate victories by singing along and dancing to the smash-hit that’s sweeping the nation, “Coco,” by OT Genasis. The reason as to why they are being banned from singing this particular song is quite obvious; the NBA has an image to uphold and singing about sniffing cocaine doesn’t coincide with that.

Warriors’ big man, Marreese Speights, who usually leads the team in the sing along and posts videos of it on Instagram broke the news early Sunday morning via Twitter. A disappointed Speights tweeted out “We wish we could do the coco thing but they said we can’t nomore sorry!!! #dubnation!!! ” Hopefully, “Coco” doesn’t prove to have been the team’s good luck charm and they are able to keep up their winning ways.
