New Orleans rapper Shome, who makes his way onto the RESPECT. pages this evening, represents a caliber of artistry that often times, is just that–mysterious. Coming off of the success earned from his previous mixtape release, Kinda Sorta, Shome returns with a new visual featuring his compadre Jerm 9v, who also provided the soundtrack to this alluring new drop entitled Enigma.Check out the visual above!

New Orleans native, currently residing in Charlotte, NC-Shome is an artist that has been making waves for quite some time. His newest project, Kinda Sorta, takes jazz and hip-hop influences of NoLa and combines it with features from Charlotte artists such as Elevator Jay, Lotta, Senior and others to make the perfect K.O. He always gives listeners what he is going through in life at the moment instead of faking the funk and that’s why his music stands out. Each track has its own bang but “Road Trip” has that down south funky sound that many don’t capture these days. Check out Kinda Sorta below.
