With such a bold declaration comes his latest video, “Let It Go,” which sees the rapper sprawling over a heavy-thumping beat, while shouting the song’s title. With Maleek Berry’s production imprint, the UK MC continues to carve out his place, delivering some upbeat, charismatic verses: “I’m a work in progress I know this cause I get no rest… Man I’ve been so consistent they bout to run out of options.” Set against black-and-white imagery, the visual, courtesy of Sheridan De Myers is a revelation of sorts. It couples well with the music: atop the beat, Ikes‘ grimey flow roars out, serving as an forewarning to whomever may want to seize his title.
