Calling it his “most transparent song to date”, Tyrese offers up the visual to his latest song, titled “Shame”. Also featuring Jennifer Hudson, “Shame” sees Tyrese remorsefully addressing the women from his past and their hearts that he broke. The most interesting thing of all? This clip is directed by none other than Hollywood legend (turned potential meme of the year) Denzel Washington.

In an unexpected visual interpretation of “Shame,” Freddie Gibbs plays the role of the homie with the goods that women seek. The song implies a sexual “walk of shame,” but Jonah Schwartz had a different vision for the video. BJ The Chicago Kid croons the chorus while against the front door, laying the cautionary lyrics, “it ain’t gotta be the walk of shame, baby, but that’s only if you know the game, baby.” The Shame EP with sole production by Madlib is available now for download.

As Madvillain showed us, Madlib plus a great emcee always equals success. The beat emperor’s latest collaboration is with Freddie Gibbs, Indiana’s finest. Together as Madgibbs, the pair has crafted a short project titled Shame. According to Stones Throw Records, the EP is just a sample of a longer collaboration due out sometime this fall.
