The 50/50 album by The DJ Grid was released 4/20 on Walmart.com exclusively and sold out in 24 hours. The coalition linked up with various artists to drop this collaborative album, 50/50. The album was first announced in early 2020 and was distributed three months later. The 50/50 album consists mostly of Hip Hop and Rhythm & Blues songs and the 20-track project marks The DJ Grid’s return, following a short absence in terms of albums releases.

The 50/50 LP features headliners like Twista, Lauryn Hill, C-Murder, Cuttboy G-Dinero, JonBlaze, Chris Brown, Beadz, Quavo, Gunplay, RedrumSociety, Avatar Frost, Kali Ranks, Sunshine Blues, FLO, KC Da Beatmonster, and more. “This album is on track to be one of the industry’s most anticipated albums.” says the head A&R of Predicted Platinum Records, DJ Choice. The 50/50 compilation can currently be purchased in CD format at Wal-Mart, Kmart, and Sears. The star studded album was physically distributed by Predicted Platinum Records (A sub-label of Amada Records).

Sean Kingston is jumping right into some celebrity beef between The Game and Meek Mill. As far as disagreements between rappers go, this one brings them all down.

Kingston defended Meek on Instagram, while simultaneously managing to insult The Game. The social media diss is a low blow.

Kingston was robbed at a Los Angeles club in June, where his $300,000 chain was taken. The Game believed that Meek had spoken to the police, telling them that he was responsible for the robbery. Now, allegations are being thrown around that Kingston accused The Game to the police.

“At no time did my client bring up the Game during the investigation. In fact, [Sean], to date, has not even spoken to any member of the LAPD regarding this incident,” Kingston’s attorney told TMZ.

Meek then released a diss track “Ooouuu” against The Game, with all kinds of insults and threats. The Game took to instagram to say he’ll be working on a response.

With all the back and forth name-calling and negativity between the three musicians, no one comes out a winner. Let’s hope things settle down soon.

According to TMZ, one of the guests stepped outside where he was approached by a man wearing a black mask inside a car. The suspect then attempted to rob the victim. “We’re told a struggle ensued and the suspect shot the victim in the arm, and then fled by car. By the time police responded, Soulja Boy had bolted. The victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.” Police are still searching for a suspect.

Despite the eventful night before, Soulja Boy spends the next day at the studio with friend, Sean Kingston. On  his Instagram, he posts a pic with Kingston at the studio where he expresses, “Birthday vibes studio flow good friends family and working on my music all im focused on.”

Sean Kingston spreads international love performing in Guyana in front of thousands at Guyana National Stadium in celebration of Guyana’s 50 Year Anniversary of Independence. In his new video introducing his Vlog series “Redemption,” he’s seen performing his multi-platinum records including “Beautiful Girl” and “Me Love” to a lyric-reciting, sold out crowd.

In addition to hitting the stage Kingston makes a pit stop in the slums of Guyana to connect with the people. During his visit, Kingston brings awareness to his humble beginnings and passion to be a contribution to the less fortunate people of this world, sharing intimate information about his past and how he used to fetch his own water to take showers. No stranger to poverty, Kingston expresses how important it is for him to give back to the less fortunate.

Kingston plans to drop a new mixtape titled “90’s Baby” at the end of the year and follow up with a new album titled “REDEMPTION” in early 2017. The seven-time platinum award-winning singer/song writer/ rapper and actor sets the stage to secure his throne as the industry’s most celebrated Island/Pop Star.

After previously rolling with Bun B and Trae The Truth on the bass heavy “H Town,” Dizzee Rascal returns with a new track deconstructing hip hop’s favourite topic: sex. The Brit MC provides some high-energy verses on, “I Don’t Need A Reason,” narrating his relentless preoccupation with getting it in. Producer Jean Baptiste foils the rapper’s rhymes with a simple, yet syncopated thumping beat. This track will be featured on Dizzee’s hotly-anticipated forthcoming album, The Fifth, which also features cuts from Jessie J, will.i.am, Tinie Tempah and Sean Kingston.
