California based Hip Hop artist Truth Ali has dropped off the PREMIERE of his latest visual for his “Wait A Minute” single. Having been compared to the likes of Eminem, Techn9ne, Ludacris, Busta
Rhymes, Twista and 2 Pac,  his raw creativity is relentless. As someone who prides themself on being real and authentic, he shows the world why he is the next big act coming out the west coast. His quick tongue and vicious bars are two elements of this release that take Truth Ali’s talent to new heights.

In this visual you will see the emcee dressed in an almost all black ensemble with a black background, conveying his seriousness. As he spits some of his heaviest bars, the California native comes correct, and hard. With a rapidly growing fan base this visual is exactly what a real hip hop lover is looking for. The man and woman moving in unison as silhouettes are really nice to touch an impressive body fo work.

Truth Ali does a great job bridging conscious lyrics over a booming thriving melody. Some bars that stand out the most on this song are “all I’m fearing is God, no longer afraid of my own strength, y’all ain’t wasting my time ain’t no refunding on that shit”. His on camera charisma and high energy delivery, gives him an edge over the other newcomers looking to shake up the music business.

The Legends Fest: Hip Hop Edition

Hip-hop legend Scarface will be joined by some of hip-hop’s most honorable artists from the 80s and 90s, including KRS-One, MC Lyte, Roxanne Shante, and DJ Quik.

Chicago’s own, Twista, known for his chopper-style of rapping and chart-topping hits, performs in his hometown alongside hip-hop icons to cover fan-favorites and take concert-goers on a trip down memory lane.

Performances by the reigning queens of hip-hop, Roxanne Shante, MC Lyte, and Shawnna, will shut down the building with their legendary hits for the real hip hop lovers.

The legendary Scarface is back…sort of. On December 15th, the Houston icon will deliver an updated (or accompanying?) version of his 2015 release Deeply Rooted, dubbed The Lost Files. Today, we bring to you two new tracks from that upcoming (re-)release: “Black Still” and “Same Ol Same.”

 BMG US is proud to announce the reunion of The CrossRhodes, the activist hip-hop/r&b group featuring three-time Grammy Nominated Recording Artist, Raheem DeVaughn, and his longtime collaborator, Wes Felton. The group is set to release their new album Footprints On The Moon on September 22, 2017.

Back in 2004, the group helped usher in a socio-political revolution with songs such as “Dreamin” and “I Woke Up” from their self-titled debut ‘The CrossRhodes‘. The duo blends the gifts of soulful crooner Raheem Devaughn with the multifaceted wordsmith and actor Wes Felton. In the 12 years following their hiatus, The CrossRhodes has achieved individual success in arts and music. Raheem has cultivated an image as the “Love King” and become of one of music’s most respected artists, earning two BET Awards and three Grammy Nominations. Wes would continue his ascent as a notable actor and a wordsmith collaborating with notable artists such as Eric Roberson, Sy Smith, and Prince Paul.

The current climate of political and social unrest has invigorated the artistic prowess of DeVaughnand Felton. Empowered by the burgeoning passion fueled in support of leaders within the Black Lives Matter and Immigration Reform movements, The CrossRhodes reunited to break their silence and reactivate the masses.

Music has always been interwoven within social and political movements. Footprints On The Moonis providing the soundtrack for the movement towards social progress. Listeners can expect special appearances and production from notable artists and producers such as Scarface, Talib Kweli, 9th Wonder, Rapsody, Chaz French, Phil Ade, The Colleagues, The Fr3shmen, and many more.

“With the current state of political uncertainty, creatives have a responsibility to be the voice and reflection of the people,”  says Devaughn.

“Music with a message is a much needed and welcomed disruption. Footprints On The Moon plans to inspire and incite positive and catalytic change.”

“We come from a rich legacy of black artists who created music to wake the consciousness of the masses, said Felton.

“Music is supposed to inspire. We do not promote escapism or a fantasy. We have created reality music. Footprints On The Moon will expose racial and social injustices, economic disparities, and issues that affect real people. It is our hope that the people will support artists and movements that reflect the changes needed for our communities.”

Arkansas Bo is his name. A pioneer to the Arkansas music scene, the rapper, whose real name is Marlon Jennings hails from a small rural town, Stuttgart, Arkansas. He is a member of Scarface’s FaceMob label. He was first featured in the Source Magazine under the Unsigned Hype column, in 2005. He has opened for various artists such as Scarface, 8 Ball & MJG, Big Krit, Paul Wall, Boosie Badazz and Webbie. And now he’s back with his some fresh music for his listeners.

Arkansas Bo’s newest single “Black Lives Don’t Matter” — ft. E-Dubb, Justin Paul, and Touda– tells the story of black men striving to overcome the struggles of their environment, the perils of police brutality, and corruption dividing their communities.

Arkansas Bo has a smooth flow over soulful melodies. He shares a story of his conflicts with corrupt police who treat him unjustly and remembering the fallen lives of Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Sandra Bland, Oscar Grant, and Sean Bell.

The Arkansas emcee speaks up for the innocent people against misunderstanding America saying:

 “It’s not about racism but f**k that I ain’t trying to hear it/ My skin can get me killed but your skin can get you privilege.” “F**k, all that marching and sanging and chitter-chatter/I stay strapped apparently because my black life don’t matter.”

Rap Icon Scarface is gearing  up for his upcoming tour, appropriately titled “ICON”. The Texas native is preparing to perform in 28 cities  starting next month.

The tour kicks off Feb. 11 in Tulsa, Okla., will hit multiple stops including Texas, the West Coast, the Midwest and the South, before wrapping it up in his hometown on April 1. The ill rhymer hinted that the tour may expand to additional cities as well. We certainly hope so since New York or Atlanta is not on the list.

Last year, the former Geto Boys member released his first album in seven years, Deeply Rooted, to critical acclaim. The collection includes features from Nas, John Legend and Rick Ross.

The 45-year-old also released a memoir, Diary of a Madman: The Geto Boys, Life, Death, and the Roots of Southern Rap, which chronicled his childhood and his rise to rap stardom
