Nicki Minaj maybe back on the market after reports that her two-year relationship and engagement with Meek Mill has come to an end.

The hip-hop couple were said to have had a turbulent relationship. But according to sources close to Media Take Out, Nicki Minaj has allegedly called time for good on her romance with Meek. The sources are said to be individuals from Minaj’s inner circle. It seems like the big thing that bothered Nicki was Meek’s ‘hood mentality.’

The source said disagreements occurred between the different mentalities between the two and what they enjoyed doing.

‘Nicki and Meek are not on the same page. Meek still wants to go to the hood, hang out with his boys and ride bikes. Nicki’s into refined things, like museums and fashion shows.’

Initially, the relationship was said to have started off particularly well as both rappers had similar backgrounds. But this seems to have turned sour as of late.

‘They both have similar pasts, so they hit it off. But Nicki is no longer in a “hood mentality” and Meek is. One day he’ll grow up and maybe they’ll get back together.’

Overall according to the sources, as a result of the disagreements between the two, Nicki was the one to express her concerns and walk out on the relationship.

‘Nicki wanted to leave, Meek wants her back.’

Both camps have yet to confirm these reports. Someone who has been speaking about Minaj recently is her previous ex, Safaree Samuels. When asked if he could ever be friends with the star, he tweeted out the response, promoting a very reactive conservation.

After gifting the “boy who likes her,” Meek Mill, with a Rolex watch and a festive red cake with a four-wheeler on top for his birthday on May 6th, Nicki Minaj turned up on Twitter against ex, Safaree Samuels. What caused the issue? Safaree hit her with another lawsuit.

In a flood of tweets Tuesday evening (May 10), the emcee called out her former flame, tweeting, “N—-z get mad when they can’t come & live lavish wit u…. #poorting I know it hurts,” Nicki said. This prompted a swift response from Safaree. “Trust and believe nobody wants to live with you.#richthing Attn: money doesn’t buy happiness. The ones with it are the most pressed.”

That’s when Nicki unloaded the verbal clip from seemingly built up frustration after being served with papers for a lawsuit where Safaree allegedly claimed “to have been physically & emotionally abused” during their relationship. Nicki denied the allegation via Twitter but also shared that Samuels allegedly stole money but she “never” prosecuted him.

Nicki made it very clear that although Safaree is bashing her in public, in private it’s a different story and accused Samuels of trying to stir up drama in an attempt to join the Love and Hip-Hop:Hollywood cast. Nicki may not be too far off, because Safaree was recently rumored to be dating LHHH star Nikki Mudarris. “U really want me showing these emails? I know u need a story line to be on reality TV.”

This is the second lawsuit Samuels has filed against Nicki. The first came last November when TMZ reported that Samuels had filed a  lawsuit against Minaj for unpaid royalties. He claimed he helped her create some of her biggest hits including “Only” featuring Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne and the “Flawless (Remix),” her smash collaboration with Beyonce. While Minaj didn’t share plans of a countersuit, she did offer, “I could never sue a person who gave me all they had to give. Accept that u messed up & move on.” Nicki also offered words of wisdom to the women defending Safaree’s actions, stating that Safaree is a healthy and able bodied man who has the ability to “hustle just as hard” as she does.

Although Safaree did not respond to the allegations, his reps did issue a statement saying, “Initially things were being handled privately behind the scenes but it was taken to social media and unfortunately its now being played out in the public eye which could easily be interpreted as a cry for attention. Safaree will not continue in any more social media feuds and at this time we are unable to comment or provide any details pertaining to the current legal proceedings that are taking place with Safaree Samuels and Nicki Minaj. We are confident that things will be both favorable and amicable for all parties.”
