As can be seen above, Ciara recently did a photoshoot with Harper’s Bazaar, which also featured husband Russell Wilson and Baby Future (who she had with — you guessed it — rapper Future). While this photo (and others, which were all shot by Dani Brubaker can be seen here) garnered a lot of positive response, it should be no surprise that social media had fun with it as well.

With the NFL season on its way, another fantastic aspect of the sport is starting to bloom, fantasy football. With the advancements of technology and social media, fantasy football has taken a turn for the best.  A lot of football fans enjoy playing against their co-workers, roommates, family members, and others in fun competition. Even though there are many exciting components of fantasy sports, there are some major downsides as well.  

One upside of fantasy football is that certain leagues involve money.  Yes, fantasy football is a form of gambling, so there is high risk depending on how many people there are in your league.  But people always say, “high risk, high reward”.  While this is very accurate, the downside are the chances of winning.  There is a greater chance of losing money as opposed to winning the jackpot.  In a ten man league, only one person will walk away with money making it a one out of ten chance.  If you like those odds, go play and win!

The biggest downside to fantasy football is a scenario that I will present to you now.  In your fantasy draft, you acquire Julian Edleman from the New England Patriots.  At the same time, you are a die hard Giants fan since you were seven years of age. The day that the Giants and the Patriots play, who do you root for? Do you want the Giants to win, or for Edleman to score touchdowns to boost your fantasy points?  In the 2016-2017 NFL season, I am currently in this scenario.  Another player on my fantasy team that is going to be an obstacle rooting for is the explosive Russell Wilson. With the possibility of receiving high fantasy numbers from Wilson, I would root for the Seahawks to score seven touchdowns, but hope that the Giants can come back and score seven as well and in addition, a field goal to win the game.  

Even though there are cons to the idea of fantasy football, there are many pros to paying fantasy as well! With the obstacles placed in front of a fantasy team owner, fantasy football is still an exhilarating and fun game to play with your friends.  Good luck with your season fantasy football owners!

So it’s OFFICIAL! Ciara and Russell Wilson have tied the knot in the U.K. – The “Goodies” singer said I DO to her Seattle Seahawks Quarterback, Russell Wilson. According to Eonline the couple said their nuptials today in front of close friends and family at the Peckforton Castles in Cheshire, England. Ciara wore a custom Roberto Cavalli dress, designed by the label’s creative director, Peter Dundas while Russel wore an all Black suit.

Ciara and Russell began dating in April of 2015. In September, Russell stated that he and Ciara decided to remain celibate during their dating period and wait until marriage to get the goodies. Russell stated that God told him that Ciara was his wife:

Ciara was on tour and I was looking at her in the mirror and God spoke to me, he said “I need you to lead her” – I then asked Ciara what would you do if we took all that extra stuff off the table and just did it Jesus’ way?

Ciara has admitted that honoring her vow of celibacy until marriage has not been an easy task, but stated that Russell was being honest about where they were at the time in their relationship. She also stated that there are so many other people just like them in the world.

The couple whom I’m sure wanted to keep the affair private, had a couple of celebrity friends in the mix whom just couldn’t keep their hands off of the camera. JHUD a.k.a Jennifer Hudson– reportedly one of Ciara’s besties– was one of them whom hinted around on her instagram page of her going all the way to the U.K. for some fun. Meanwhile while the couple was on hush mode, Russell couldn’t hold back from expressing his emotions for the couple’s day on his twitter account yesterday.

Someone was able to get a picture of the couple’s attire. News of the couple getting married began surfacing over the weekend. According to nymag it is said that Ciara celebrated her bachelorette party two weeks ago and Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams and La La Anthony were in attendance for a “girls only vacation.”
