]]> St. Petersburg rapper Rod Wave just released a top-10 charting album, Ghetto Gospel, months back. Seemingly, the rap star is already releasing new music and announcing a forthcoming album. While sharing snippets from the new project, Rod revealed that the title will be Pray 4 Love, slated to drop within the coming months.

This past week, Rod Wave dropped yet another banged titled “Thief In The Night.” Furthermore, it’s accompanied by a video from Cole Bennett and released via Lyrical Lemonade’s YouTube channel.  More over, he recently completed the first stop of his Ghetto Gospel tour. Up next includes sold out stops in Charlotte, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Peep the video below.

“Trigga Eighty-Sixth Album”

Hailing from Oakland, CA, rising rapper Trigga, is someone who has been influenced heavily by different genres of music. You will hear an array of sounds and vibes as he serves up his best work to date on his new Eighty-Sixth album.
Within 15 tracks, you will hear an array of genres and fire bars from the young emcee. As his sound is derived from elements of the Bay, he prides himself on not sounding like any other Bay area artist. His diverse flow, and delivery are two elements of this release that stand out the most.

When asked about the inspiration behind his new album Trigga responded “The inspiration behind my latest release was basically just letting the world know who I am and where I come from. The album cover is a picture of me and my granny on the porch while she is braiding my hair. That house is home. If I leave, I always come back. I can’t stay away”.

While he credits those around him for solely being his biggest influences, he wouldn’t mind collaborating with Roddy Ricch, NBA Youngboy, Meek Mill, Rod Wave, and other artists from the Bay.
As Trigga is gearing up for his most successful year yet, he wants to be known for delivering great, quality music suitable for all music lovers worldwide. He also plans to expand his brand, Alla BoutMoney, across the world with his music and merchandise.

]]> Rod Wave has been making major waves this past year following the breakout success of PTSD. The Florida rapper recently reentered the Top 10 with his standout project, Ghetto Gospel, this week. To celebrate the milestone, the St. Petersburg-native treats fans alike to his very first song of 2020, “Thug Motivation.” The song is currently No. 5 on YouTube’s trending charts and generated nearly 1M views in its first day.

Like much of Rod Wave’s music, the song pierces through your heart as he raps about his past experiences and pain. “Ahh shit, they done let me in the door / They done gave your boy a change, now a youngin’ finna blow,” he recites on the opening verse. Check out the video and dates for his forthcoming tour below.

Starting March 3 in Augusta, Georgia, the 22-date tour includes stops in NYC (March 17) and LA (March 26), and ends April 3 in his hometown of St. Petersburg at Jannus Live.
