Long Island Native emcee/producer, Rod Da Blizz, has a knack for constructing dope sh*t for the culture.  With a penchant for thought provoking, hard-hitting lines, Blizz exhibits influences from some of the most respectable pioneers in hip-hop.  You don’t often stumble across rappers who can equitably produce gritty music on a similar level to their pen game.  He is also one half of production duo, The Labor Department, who has produced songs for artists such as Mac Miller and Redman.

On his most recent offering, The Wildin Era EP, he delivers his portion of significance to the game. The project provides relevant and controversial  records that indubitably need to be heard and understood, such as “Afro American History X”. You get quintessential East Coast boom bap vibes on “They Say I’m Wildin”, or some real straightforward sh*t on “Call It How I See It”.

HA!, crazy statement right there fam.  If hip-hop runs through your veins, I encourage you to give this dope project a listen, for I am sure you’ll enjoy the production and bar work.
