Dress like an Olympian with the new Nike x Undercover Gyakusou collaboration, which come out August 18th. There’s an earlier exclusive release date of August 4 at the NikeLab Rio space, but most of us will have to wait for the line to hit Nike’s website.

The style of the line is supposed to reflect the Olympic games in Rio, a city known for its colorful culture and steamy weather. Nike explained the new line uses “bright primary colors (punctuated by neons) that capture the vibrancy of Rio de Janeiro.” The clothes are inspired by the racing outfits aimed to help Olympians to feel both comfortable and powerful.

Previous Nike and Gyakusou collaborations have played with darker, more muted colors. This time, the team encourages you to stand out and make a splash, urging the consumer not to blend in.

The Dri-FIT material is lightweight, breathable, and helps you stay cool under pressure.

When you’re watching the Olympics this year, get competitive, get inspired and get running.

Tennessee is chock-full of hip hop talent, and yesterday we got a video from the dynamic duo of Rio and Petty. “Right Now” is a feel-good tune that is set up by some great production on behalf of Rio, who then delivers a quality verse along with Mr. Petty Kane Jr.

It just premiered yesterday, and takes place in a vintage-looking rollerskating rink laden with multi-colored lights, which gives the upbeat track a real funky feel.

Yesterday was the sixth anniversary of Rooftop Legends, curated by Jesse Pais, a former graffiti artist. Located at 350 Grand Street in New York, the event was a breathtaking explosion of color.Everywhere the eye wandered, there was a work of art waiting to be consumed. The ambiance was fun, with  DJ DP One of the Heavy Hitters  blasting some Snoop Dogg; interestingly, his tunes directed curious passers-by out on the streets to drop in.

Here is a compilation of the best graffiti art we spotted. These pieces brought intense luminosity to an initially grey setting.

Spotted in three different areas on the rooftop: street artist Cern and his smooth elephants.

One artist stuck out with his original comic book style: Tito Na Rua. The New York artist, now based in Rio, has been creating an international series of comics  Zé Ninguém (Joe Nobody.) The author-street artist created a series of murals portraying Zé, his Mario-looking-character, struggling in his search for his long-lost love, Anna.

Work in progress:

Tito started spraying in 2007 after a kid encouraged him to draw on a wall after seeing some of his comic-book work.  The artist is now working on the story for his character Ana, in a similar progressive style as Zé. Tito is currently pitching a new idea to turn his story into a TV show to a producer. Inspired by climate change and natural disasters when creating surrealistic robots, Tito wants to educate a young audience through his educational TV show. The New York native produced another mural in 2012 on that same rooftop using a different, more realistic, style. Notice the parallel he creates between his two styles by using characters wearing boxing gloves.

Okay, this one’s interesting. Nacho had some things to get off his chest about his ex so he decided to make a diss record. However, that wasn’t enough. He decided to call her up for some extra material and used the recordings in the song. The end result is actually quite entertaining. Listen below.
