New Video: Jared Evan feat. Action Bronson – “Pro Create”

After bringing in Joey Bada$$ for the dope “Black & White” video, Jared Evan & Statik Selektah enlist Action Bronson for the conflicted and soulful “Pro Create.” Bronson enters Evan’s wistfully romantic world–“thinking this love is only seasonal”–but stays himself–“I’m still fuckin, ass like an onion.” He seems to be addressing the same baby mama from “The Madness” and “Tapas,” but this time with more tortured focus. Evan relates laying down his woman to laying down a track, wooing her with just his voice and M-Audio keys. “We could put it all on tape, right here / why don’t we just procreate what we hear?” he asks her in the Rik Cordero-directed clip. Evan & Selektah’s full-length collaboration, Boom Bap & Blues is available now at iTunes. You should get it. Watch below and get convinced.

New Video: Jared Evan & Statik Selektah feat. Joey Bada$$ – “Black & White”

Last week, Jared Evan and Statik Selektah released their new collaborative project, the Boom Bap & Blues LP. The project features collaborations with Action Bronson, Termanology, and more. It also includes great production and nice samples. From the project, the duo is releasing the new video for “Black & White”, featuring Pro Era counterpart Joey Bada$$. The Rik Cordero directed visuals show the tumultuous aspects of a relationship.

Music Video Trailer: Action Bronson “The Symbol”

On Monday, Action Bronson will debut his newest project: an epic video/cinematic adventure for “The Symbol”, a track off his upcoming collaborative mixtape, Rare Chandeliers. This week though, he’s given us a sneak peak trailer to show us just how awesome this premiere is going to be. What will make this epic music video unique is that it is directed by fellow Queens native, Rik Cordero, nominee for the 2009 Video Director of the Year BET Award, and winner of 6 other acclaimed music video director accolades. If anything, it looks like “The Symbol” is gearing up to be a hilarious Bronson version of the 2009 comedy Black Dynamite.
