TM88’s ‘TRAPYEEZY88‘ adds Atlanta’s signature feel to ‘I Love Kanye.’ The enigma in which we call ‘TLOP’ has been a conversational mainstay since it’s release, (via TIDAL, or if you add in the 500,000+ and counting illegal downloads) and like most Yeezy records, the flood of remixes is a certainty. This time around, rising mega-prodcuer TM88 (who’s credits include Future, Drake, Travis Scott, French Montana, Guvvi Man, Rocko, Young Thug, Wiz Khalifa, and so on) adds his hard-hitting and stylistic drum patterns to a record that has already taken on a life of it’s own. TM88 constructs a piece that blends Kanye’s original thematics with knocking drum sequences, a trap-centric approach, and minor affects that add depth, leaving the re-work organically enhanced, not necessarily changed. Sure, Kanye records can, and will, be played everywhere, but TM88’s take on ‘I Love Kanye’ ultimately translates to the strip club, which in Atlanta as we know, is sacred. From the looks of it though, this leak was against Travis Scott’s wish, who took it to his Twitter that he was attempting to take a gap from dropping new music but it looks like the leak ruined his plans. Lil Kim Ft. Maino – Panda (Remix)

18-year-old Brooklyn rapper Desiigner was relatively unknown when he dropped “Panda” a few days before Christmas. Six weeks and millions of views later, he has signed to Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music. Kanye West made the official announcement during his Yeezy Season 3 festivities at Madison Square Garden and all of the sudden Desiigner is being spotted everywhere with Ye.

Ever since his song went viral, Desiigner has been getting the co-sign of many heavyweights in the industry. First Dave East remixed the track, now Lil Kim released the “PANDA” remix featuring hiphop recording artist Maino. Take a listen below.

Dj Skizz Remixes Cormega’s “Industry” And Brought Along A Few Seasoned Veterans

Surpassing the expectations of a standard “remix” in 2016, Brooklyn’s Dj Skizz offers an oversized fixing for all hip-hop heads with this one. Let’s take a moment and reflect on how potent Cormega & Large Professor‘s ‘Mega Philosophy’ LP was in 2014. If you missed it, we highly recommend you getting your hands on it today. Anyway, “Industry” was a stand out record for many off of the album.

With a healthy list of commendable production credits, rock solid releases and an evident, pure work ethic, it’s no surprise Skizz would go above and beyond with this one – or anything he touches for that matter. As you can see above, he brought along some seasoned veterans and staples to paint his refined canvas. Could we ask for a better line-up of emcees to discuss such a heavy topic? Probably not.
