As he gears up for the release of his concept-based EP, “Macklemore Privilege and Chief on Keef Violence“, emerging emcee Raz Simone releases the brutally honest, “Same Problems.” Over a dark and string heavy intstrumental, Raz teams up with Gifted Gab and Fatal Lucciauno for a cohesive track that details the realities of being a minority in the hood.

”Same Problems” cites that others can’t even begin to understand the problems faced by those living in the inner city, such as incarceration, suicide and the dilemnas faced when you’re left with little to no options. Check it out below and be sure to catch “Macklemore Privilege and Chief on Keef Violence“ March 3rd.

Seattle native, Raz Simone let hip-hop fans know what’s really up with their favorite rapper in his latest visual, “So Many Things”. On the raspy and aggressive track, he spits about how most rappers care more about a paycheck than their fans, like when artists make fans pay money to be in their presence and an overall lack of love for supporters.

If that wasn’t enough, Raz Simone also gets into the pressures of living up to the lavish and thugged-out rap persona that’s so often depicted in music videos and magazines; however, the track isn’t all about venting. Simone ends it on a lighter note by showing his thanks for all the positive things his career has afforded him. All in all it’s a very thought-provoking track that shows the game through a different lens. That is, if you haven’t already. Catch it below.
