Ever since Baka‘s song “Live Up To My Name” broke in America, Canada is getting all sorts of looks from the industry, which has led the debate on if Toronto is up there with Atlanta, Houston and L.A. in its ability to create mainstream street music. If anything, Rari’s entire style and aesthetic further solidifies Toronto’s reputation in the cultural zeitgeist, adding to an already burgeoning trap music scene north of the border.
