New Video: Lupe Fiasco — “Bitch Bad”

Lupe Fiasco promised he would deliver his new video for “Bitch Bad” on MTV’s RapFix today and he did exactly that. Lupe’s gearing up for the release of his new album Food and Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Vol 1 and this is definitely some of his best material in years. The video goes perfect with the message and hopefully it’ll be an eye opener for those who call themselves “bad bitches” (along with our disRESPECT.)

Interview: 2Chainz discusses Def Jam deal, YMCMB

The newly signed 2Chainz discusses his potential record deal offers with Sway on MTV’s RapFix. As you probably already know, 2Chainz recently signed with Def Jam, though he had a chance to go with YMCMB, and was formely a part of Ludacris’s Disturbin Tha Peace/Universal. Hustle hard.

He also discusses how he wants to create an online school for “the real,” aptly titled The Real University (T.R.U.) Peep the end of the video where Sway plays back some older clips of the then Tity Boi.

Machine Gun Kelly Wins MTV’s Hottest Breakthrough MC Award

The Eastside Cleveland wild boy’s meteoric rise continues, as it was announced yesterday live on MTV’s RapFix that Machine Gun Kelly was the Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2011. Lil’ Twist nabbed the second spot followed by Pittsburgh’s Mac Miller. The list was based on fan voting, akin to the NBA All Star Game where popularity tops ability, so the award should really be going to Machine Gun Kelly’s fans (and by no means am I saying MGK and Mac Miller can’t rap. They both are extremely talented. But Kendrick Lamar finished fifth). Kels would tweet photos of his fans, all with a lap top in their laps, voting for him. Some dude claimed he voted for MGK over 100 times. I’ve never seen an artist whose fans will literally do anything for him. So congratulations to MGK as we gear up for his label debut early next year.
