Pixel Pancho is in Puerto Rico producing some of his strongest murals. The Italian artist is in town for Santurce Es Ley. Putting out two strong pieces in one week, Pixel Pancho is generating quite a buzz for himself. Pixel is now incorporating organic elements in his often metallic pieces, balancing nature and industry. The artist views “robots [as] extensions of human bodies and the reflections of humans trying to be gods by creating them.”

STREET ART: D*FACE – “The sensuality of a woman”

D*Face and his crew recently completed this new mural in Puerto Rico for the Santurce Es Ley Festival. His Lichtenstein-style mural is impressive but lacks the raunchy humor that makes D*Face memorable. Given the grandeur of the canvas he had to work with, more was expected. However, the sensuality of his figure’s striking features remains admirable.
