Now, Promnite takes off with an EP titled Snake Charmer and it goes very hard. The EP features Denzel Curry, Nell, J.K. The Reaper, Twelve’len, Adam Vida, Mark Johns and LaDonnis. Altogether it is a four song long EP but don’t let that fool you. Promnite’s instrumental game is super versatile as he goes from “Gunsmoke” to even harder beat on “Ride Around” which reminisces of contemporary songs like “Holla Back Girl” and “Senile”. By the time the third song kicks in, Promnite takes a different route as he brings in the jiggy/dance vibes with Mark Johns laying down some angelic vocals.

In his own words, the producer describes the project as:

“A narrative of emotion. To me, it marks of a specific time and place in my life and how I felt about certain situations. All four tracks are a bit less of what I’ve been known for which is either club music or beats, but more it flows more like a conscious canvas put together by the features on the record.” Songs like “Gunsmoke” may hit close to home while others like “Cruise’n USA” may make you want to jump up and have fun.”

Oakland singer Kehlani released her EP You Should Be Here on April 28th, 2015. Tonight seven tracks from the 15-track EP have gotten the remix treatment. We know what you’re thinking, “How can these songs get any better?” They can.  Remixes from the likes STWO and Promnite of tracks like “Runnin'” and “Be Alright” will make you make you fall in love with You Should Be Here all over again.
