Hip-hop veteran, Warren G stopped by Power 106’s The Cruz Show to chop it up a bit on everything from wanting to go to USC to learn how to write music to his thoughts on his stepbrother, Dr. Dre’s biopic, Straight Outta Compton During the short interview Warren also got into his fear of putting out wack music and how his 1994 classic “Regulate” was recorded in an apartment building in Long Beach, that  held only his studio, dog and bed. While recently at Power 106’s Powerhouse, Kanye West delivered a soul-stirring freestyle that has garnered the title, “I Want It All.” The freestyle, which came in towards the end of his “Heartless” performance, features a raspy-voiced Kanye expressing his desires for not settling for less than what he deserves and his love for “All the sh*t they talk. It’s been a crazy week for South Side, Chicago emcee, Vic Mensa, as he just inked a deal with JAY Z’s Roc Nation. Earlier this week he chopped it up with Los Angeles’ Power 106 to talk his first time meeting JAY Z, working with Kanye West and what lies ahead in his future. Before he left, Vic also kept up with tradition by dropping a fire freestyle over Future’s “ Commas” instrumental.
