P!nk is back. The R&B singer-turned-Pop superstar has announced her 7th studio album titled Beautiful Trauma, set to be released November 17th; leading the campaign is a new single titled “Revenge,” which sees production from Max Martin and Shellback and features recent BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher participant Eminem.

Speaking to ITV’s Lorraine, P!nk broke down the song’s creation:

I reached out to [Eminem] in this case… I love him. I’ve always loved him. I think he’s a lyrical genius.

I had written this song. I had went to the studio and drank a lot of wine, I wrote ‘Revenge,’ And then, I went home and drank more wine because that’s what you do when you’ve already drank a lot of wine – you think more wine is a good idea. And I wrote him an email, and I said, ‘I love you. I’ve always loved you. I’ve loved you since you gave me your autograph at the 2001 MTV Music Video Awards. I love that you always work with the same people.’ I just wrote this love letter, and he just wrote back, ‘OK.’

P!nk released the music video for her latest single titled “Just Like Fire,” from the forthcoming movie, Alice Through The Looking Glass soundtrack. Max Martin, Oscar Holter, and Shellback joined creative forces to produce this fiery anthem. The pop-rock rebel returns to the music scene after the release of her last studio album, The Truth About Love, which dropped in 2012. Hands down, the singer is known for speaking her mind in empowering anthems dedicated to women worldwide. P!nk’s authenticity oozes out of her pores. She’s certainly not afraid to test the waters either. She can be heard rapping on the track as well and the flow is definitely on point.

The purpose of this video is to appeal to imagination of the viewer; who is taken on a journey to the land of make-believe. Go ahead and partake in this fantasy for a few minutes. It’s crystal clear that a family affair is taking place here. Her husband, Carey Hart, and daughter, Willow Sage Hart, make their cameos in the visuals. Bravo! In the video, she can be seen showing off her breathtaking aerial skills. Yup, she’s twirling on them. As a matter of fact, the characters being portrayed are put to the test on a human chessboard. Something left open for interpretation. And talk about taking your grandiose tea party to the next level – she did it. In the air that is! Without a doubt, this frame will be greatly appreciated by all tea lovers. Generally speaking the ending appears to indicate that foolishness is unacceptable in the real world. Feel free to draw your own conclusions. Make sure to catch the flick,  Alice Through The Looking Glass, which hits theaters on May 27th.
