Moving from the Cincinnati down South, this Atlanta transplant turned rapper goes by the name of SweeetBabyJesus aka El Jefe Sweeet and he’s making major noise in the Atlanta and Midwest club scenes. Known for popping tags and bottles galore, El Jefe Sweeet unleashes clean visuals for his quickly gaining song “Paper” that shows he has the “it” factor.

With a 100 carat diamond water bottle chain, El Jefe Sweeet earned a reputation for blessing the strippers and popping champagne bottles. Contrary to other rappers that try to use “Jesus” in their rap names, SweeetBabyJesus says there’s only one real Jesus in the Cincinnati streets and he has his crosshairs on Slim Jesus.

There’s only one Jesus out here in these streets, them other jokers ain’t rich enough.I’ve produced for Future, I’ve worked with Brick Squad, I been rocking with Gucci since before anything, people know me. I brought a lot of guys through Ohio for work and shows, so I’ve been in the mix.

His long list of affiliations to the streets and rap have earned him an uncanny reputation in Atlanta, Chicago and Cincinnati and prove he is a force to be reckoned with. Some attribute El Jefe Sweeet’s success to his larger-than-life demeanor and energy that commands attention and respect like most infamous large rappers.

I’m trying to bring that energy back to the music . I’m a big guy, but this is a response to that slow lean music, we’re bringing it back to that high energy live music.

SweeetBabyJesus explained. “If you can make it in Atlanta, you can make it anywhere in rap. Right now I’m gearing up for some big releases like my tape ‘Jefe Way.’ We’re working on Cook Laflare’s stuff and I got a gang of features coming with Gucci and others to round out the project. We’re really looking to make splash so we got with production from 808 Mafia, M16 and Metro Boomin on 5 or 6 songs, things are looking real nice,” he added.
